Protease inhibitor, inhibits Pepsin, Renin and Cathepsin D.

Applications: Pepstatin A, a protease inhibitor, inhibits Pepsin, Renin and Cathepsin D. Effective concentrations are 10-6 to 10-9M. It does not inhibit Trypsin, Chymotrypsin, Papain or Plasmin.
